So this song isn't exactly new, but I was listening to music randomly in my iTunes library, and this one came up. I forgot how much I liked it. Not so much the lyrics, but the neptunes do something really different with the beat -- speed it up and slow it down (or something). Very slightly. Can you hear it?

Since I'm in a mood for blogging right now figured I'd hit this one up since it's been a minute. I'll grace you with a few photos- none that I took but I want you to see my current project. I just moved to a new apartment and I am starting from scratch--> new furniture, new appliances, new everything. One piece at a time. I figured I'd take you folks (all three of you who read this blog) with me on my journey through decorating projects. Trying to have some variety, get creative with my decorating. This is what the place looks like bare. I'll publish new photos as I complete my projects :)

Some Go Go in my life

I've always liked go go music, but I've never actually gone out and bought a CD. But now I've started getting more and more into Wale, and I'm depending on my D.C. and Southern Maryland homies to put me on to some good go go artists. Anyone have recommendations? Any good mixtapes I should download?

Prince

I've really been feeling prints this season. I love how you can take a very classic, simple shape, add a cool print to it, and all of a sudden it becomes trendy and hip. Love it. Need to add more to my wardrobe. BTW, love these ladies' sense of style. Amber, Rihanna, Teyana and Karla are definitely at the top of my bad bitch list.

I've had this professional camera for about a year now. When I first got it, in my mind I was going to be walking through parks, snapping these cool photos.... Well, I've just really started to actually figure out how to use it in the past couple months. Clearly not a pro by any means, but here are a couple pics. It's a beautiful, crisp fall day today. And I'm feeling inspired; I think I'll bring the camera along on today's adventure...

Man on the Moon

Been listening to Kid Cudi and Jay for the last few days now. Enjoy them both... But honestly, Cudi had to grow on me. Listen to the lyrics- they're depressing as hell! But beats are pretty hot. Doesn't really sound like anything else that I've heard lately. I like how he takes the theme of man on the moon and applies it throughout the CD- in his lyrics, in the futuristic sound of his beats. Good stuff.

Okay. So I guess I'm a little late to jump on the blogging bandwagon, but better late than never right? Finally, time to get this started. I think I'm pretty interesting (maybe no one else does, but i don't give a daaayum) and have some random things to share with the world, so what better time to start sharing than now?
